PANARACER CG AM SC 2.25
When CG (Cedric Gracia) puts his name to something, you know it isn’t going to be a secondrate gimmick. This tyre from Panaracer is certainly no exception. CG spent quite some time developing the tread pattern and it shows: widely spaced knobs for mud shedding, aggressive pattern, and a raised central row to help reduce rolling resistance.
The devil is in the detail with these tyres though, and we are particularly impressed by Panaracer’s ‘Combo Compound’ rubber which is a soft compound base coated with a harder wearing outer layer of rubber. This greatly increases the life expectancy, which should go someway to soothing your wallet’s bike related pains.
Finally, a strip of tough rubber in the sidewall all-but eliminates pinch flats, a feature that in itself is surely enough to entice any all-mountain rider.
